Week of August 13th to August 19th

Our First Family Trip to Newport, RI

Jason, Jack, and I went to Newport for 3 nights to enjoy some time away as a family before the end of the summer.  We spent the time together going to the beach, shopping, and going out to eat.  Jason and I laugh when we reflected that each night we were back in the room by 8pm because our little man was ready for bed.  Vacation sure has changed from what it was a few years ago....
It was so special and memorable to have this time together :)

Week of August 6th to August 12th

Auntie Angelina gave Jack this huge teddy bear for his Christening.  Right now, the bear is much bigger than Jack, but he still thinks it is great!

Jack's Baptism August 5th, 2012

We had a wonderful baptism day! Jack was such a good boy in the church.   He slept for most of the service, and he was all smiles as the priest was pouring the water over his head.  The only time there were some tears was when the congregation clapped in the end to welcome the new members into the church.  Jack got startled, and began to cry.  We had a gathering back at my parents house after.  We were so grateful to have it there, since it is the best setting for hosting a party.  It was such a hot and humid day, so it was a bonus that they have central air at their house.  Overall, it was such a nice and memorable day for both Jason and I, and we felt very blessed to be surrounded by so many family members!
Getting ready for my big day!

Jack is Three Months!

My little man is three months already!! He is over 12 lbs and is about 23 inches long.  I had to take both these measurements myself, so I am not sure how accurate they are.  Jack is no longer considered a newborn.  Daddy is able to get smiles out of Jack so much easier than mommy!  Anytime you see Jack looking away and smiling, it is because daddy is doing something silly!
