And he is off!!

This has been a huge week in the Conetta house! Daddy and Mommy were off for school vacation week, and spent the week catching up on house projects and spending time with our little meatball.  Jack started cutting his first tooth during the blizzard and now his second tooth is sprouting.  He also started crawling on Monday, February 18th.  In the past 6 days, he has gone from moving in a jerky motion to really getting the hang of it.  Yesterday, he also became comfortable with pulling up to a stand.  He pulls up in his crib, on the coffee table, and on his activity table.  This week, he also started clapping when prompted! Watch out world, here he comes! No rest for mommy and daddy for a while......It's truly amazing to watch this little baby grow :)

Catching up on Jack videos

Jack LOVES to "walk" around the house.  He likes to hold onto our hands, and he walks around, often making a funny panting sound.  He for a while, we were convinced that he was going to walk before crawling.

Jack loves to be roughed up! He is definitely "all boy".  He laughs when Jason tosses him onto the couch or bed.  It's hard to believe that my little baby loves to play so hard....the rougher the better for Jack!

For months, whenever we pick Jack up, his feet run in mid air.  It is hilarious to watch, and he loves running up the stairs or in the air.

The Blizzard of 2013

Well, Plymouth got slammed with quite a blizzard this year on February 8th and 9th! We lost power for 3 days, and had to set up camp at Nana and Papa's house while we waited for our power to come back.  Mommy and Daddy both had 3 snow days, and Jack got to experience snow up close for the first time.  We bundled him in his snow suit and plopped him in the snow.  Since the suit did not have feet part of his legs touched the snow.  The moment that happened, the screaming began! We are hoping for a more exciting response next year!

Jack Turns 8 and 9 Months

I have been slacking in updating the blog lately.  Below are  combined 8 and 9 month pictures:

8 months
26 inches long
17lbs 8oz (A solid 10 lbs more then Jack was when he was born at 7lbs 8 oz)

Baby, it's cold outside.......

9 months

Jack turned 9 months on February 3rd.  He is turning into quite the little ham! You will see in the pictures that Trouble and the blue dog are no longer used as props, but now get whipped all around.  At Jack's 9 month appointment with
Dr. Hjort, Jack weighed 18lbs and was 28 inches long.  Doctor Hjort gave us the ok to feed Jack table food.  So far, it has been quite the adventure.  Jack has NOT enjoyed any of the choices we have given him.  He will either take the food and throw it off the tray, or will gag like crazy.  This boy has a STRONG gag reflux, and often he up vomiting any new foods he does not like.  He keeps mommy and daddy on their toes during dinnertime!
